Hi again!

Mommy -Well, we are still sad around here because we only have 1 grandpa now. We are trying to get back to normal - it isn't easy. Yesterday TJ went with Daddy to parade the W.'s... SW and Mommy went to GR to be with Grandma F. so she wouldn't be alone on the first holiday since Dad passed. At least SW was able to make it a nice day for Grandma. He sat on her lap for a little while and was a happy boy. :)

Anyway here are some pictures and some updates on what we are doing:

Here is TJ "stylin". Doesn't she look like she is struttin' on the catwalk? She is starting to have opinions about what she wears. Look out world, who knows what THIS 2 year old will think of as good clothing combinations! There are also frequently pink sunglasses and a purse along with the vest & the hat! they all match for the most part at least.










Here is the new laptop after SW's special modifications. Daddy was surprised that a 14 month old would damage a "Sturdy keyboard" like the one on a keyboard. Can you see Mommy rolling her eyes from there? Luckily Dell was kind enough to send out a replacement for free, since it is still under warranty. Mommy got to learn a new skill she didn't want to - keyboard replacement. Can you believe that a small plastic clip was broken on the key and the ENTIRE keyboard had to be replaced? Isn't that just crazy? We are keeping the old one for parts, in case this kind of thing happens again.


We finally got some warm weather! Here we are in the pool. SW's favorite thing to do is to is to scoop water out of the pool and dump it al over the place. TJ likes to splash in the water once it warms up a bit! The pool is naturally a favorite in the back yard! When A. & E. come over to play they have fun in it too! Mommy puts it so it is in the sun first thing in the morning, and by afternoon when it is HOT, it is in the shade. She is soooo paranoid about sunburns. Just because she had lots of them doesn't mean we will!

Here is SW with his favorite pool toy, the watering can. Sometimes he will play with other pool toys, but mostly it is this or one of the other 2 that are in the pool. The boats and stuff are okay, but they apparently don't hold a candle to a watering can!












TJ dumping water down the slide. We tried to use it as a slide into the pool, but TJ didn't care for that - not one bit! Maybe by the end of the season. In the background you can see the big red car! I got that from my cousin Z. Thank you Z.! The other car is still fun too, but it is no big red car!

Here I am in Muskegon trying to keep warm. This was the first day I would leave my hat on! Mommy got this hat at REI and always tells me how cute I am in it!

Here I am at the Hands On Museum in Ann Arbor. Bubbles are a favorite so OF COURSE I loved his exhibit. I hope we get to go back this summer!

We know, it's been a while

Mommy- sorry that I have not let the kids update lately, as you know this has been a difficult time for the family and we are just starting to get back into somewhat normalcy (if we ever had it to begin with!) I will post some pictures too in a little bit.

TJ - Well I am really deep into my 2 year-old toddler hood! I speak in full sentences and you can understand almost everything I say. I can tell you what I want in detail now. Mommy & Daddy are trying to potty train me (as if!). I am totally hooked on Youtube. My favorite video is Manah Manah (muppets), followed closely by the Ernie wth Aaron Neville video of them singing I don't want to live on the moon. I like the wiggles, in fact I just got a big-red car - it rocks! Lately I don't want to sleep at all, we can't figure that out. I try to wrestle with my brother, I always win. Why do Mommy & Daddy tell me that it will change and he will be bigger than me some day? That can't be right! Other than that, not a lot new with me!

SW - WEll I am walking forward, backward, I can climb, push a chair around in the kitchen, I am starting to talk, I say "ma ma" "manah manah" (yes I like it!), when you say words I try to repeat them for example if you say ball I will say "ba". I try to say "what's that" and point at things. I smile a LOT, but I also cry a lot lately. I do NOT like when Mommy is out of my sight! She can not be leaving me like she does, I have to say. Why does she have to go to work and go to the store? I chase TJ around and whatever she has I like to have, but she also always wants what I have. We chase each other and laugh sometimes. We are just starting to play together a little.
