tj- busy in the back yard with my sand toys. I am a very busy girl. Lately I like wearing hats, necklaces & bracelets. It's my thing right now...

sw- I like my exersaucer. Okay other therapists with no kids, don't judge us! I LIKE it. :)

TJ is almost 2 already!

TJ - we had my 2nd birthday party last weekend. For you observant people - that is about a week early. That is how it worked out. I am glad because I got my presents early! I had my family and friend Erinn over for a fun time. We had birthday cake, I smeared it all over and keep laughing and saying birthday cake. Everyone was laughing so I kept saying it. I got some awesome presents, but my favorites are dinosaurs (I LOVE them), a doll stroller to walk the Dinos in (at least that is what I do with it), and my Dinosaur books. I got a stuffed piggy that I have to admit is pretty far up there too. We had Pizza for dinner - the best food EVER! I would post pictures but our old computer stinks. We are getting a new one sometime this week. It is weird, the Monitor went UPS, 3 days after the computer was mailed Fed Ex. The monitor is supposed to be here tomorrow, the computer Friday. Why does it take Fed Ex so much longer to send it? I am confused. But Mommy & Daddy hope that the new computer wont crash so much - whatever THAT means. Mommy wants to know at what age do you start putting kids in regular beds? My crib converts to a toddler bed, should we or should we wait?

SW- I am getting closer to growing out of 6-9 month clothes. Aren't I funny? I am sleeping through the night pretty consistently. I am usually down around 10 or 10:30 and i don't think about getting up until 7:30 or so. Mommy is so much happier now! She even has more energy to dance with me at TJ. I am rolling out of Tummy time pretty good now - I can get on my back like a pro. I can get onto my Tummy from my back - but I don't see the point of that. I am trying to figure out how to creep, I REALLY want to stand up. I am a man on the move mentally - now I just have to get my body to start keeping up with me. I don't know why Daddy & Mommy don't want me to walk and get into things! I will be much happier when I can. They keep saying they are going to feed me rice cereal, but it hasn't happened yet. Something about it being hard to organize stuff or something.

Mommy - well I did it. I left the hospital. I am sad. That was a harder thing to do than I thought it would be. But I started my new job already. Monday in 2.5 hours I made about what it used to take me 10 hours to make. I guess I'll get over it. :)

Getting bigger!

TJ- well I am just a whir of activity lately! I can jump on the couch like it's nothing... I run in circles, I put my dolls in my bed for naps (though I can't get them back out).. I have become quite the picky eater. (But I like Wendy's Chicken nuggets with Mandarine orange bowl!)
Next Sunday we are celebrating my birthday. I hope that I got some cool presents coming my way! I am getting better at naming letters, colors, & numbers. I am not so good with shapes yet, but I know my circles! I also run in circles and say "round and round and round and round" I really like hanging out with my cousins Zach & Hannah at Grandma W's house. I get mad when I get there and they aren't there. I still like dinosaurs. I went to the dentist yesterday, everything looks good! I got a pretty bracelet and a new toothbrush!

SW- well I am also a whir of activity! Last week I rolled from my belly to my back and back to belly! (though getting my arm out of the way to get to my belly is kind of hard to do still). I sleep mostly through the night now that I can suck my thumb like my big sister can. I can sit up almost on my own and I can stand up for a good 10 - 15 seconds just hanging on to mommy or daddy's finger. I am starting to notice that my 6-9 month clothes are getting snug. I am going to be in 12 month clothes soon... Mommy said that she refuses to buy summer 12 month clothes for me and I better slow down - like I have control! I am going to be a very big boy if I keep this up!

Mommy-
Well this old computer is just about to be replaced. I tried to upload some pictures, but this computer will NOT cooperate today, or any other day it seems like lately. This is gonna be a short post - time to shower. Looked at myself in some recent pictures & decided to do some DDR. I need some exercise - sheesh! Now I gotta shower before SW wakes up and wants to be fed. I know... 2 c-sections in 19 months with 2-3 months bedrest prior - I should lighten up.. but YICK!!

TJ -
last weekend I got to go to Muskegon and see some big water. I loved it! LOVED it! I hugged the sand - I wasn't afraid of the big waves coming in (big thunderstorms had just passed through). There were doggies there, I wanted to meet them. What I really did NOT want to do was leave. but we did. I had a HUGE fit when we left too let me tell you! I got to hang out with my friend Elayna and eat lots of blueberries. It was fun. :)

SW -
Big water? What is she talking about? Is that the sandy place that I took a huge nap at? You see I always sleep to ocean waves, and to me it sounded a lot like that. It was pretty nice all snuggled in a baby sling. I got an exersaucer last week and I love it! I want to stand up all the time, even though I really am not quite good at sitting up all by myself just yet. I can almost roll all the way to my belly too - my arm gets stuck under me though.
